ISIS Planning 'Imminent' Attack on Jewish Schools and Islam Has Everything to do With It

There is nothing indiscriminate here.

Time and again the Jewish people are primary targets for terrorists specifically because anti-Semitism is a key tenet of the Islamic faith. Throughout the Quran and Haddith (accounts of Islam's prophet Muhammad) are verses describing Jews as "descendent of apes and pigs" worthy of scorn and ultimately of death.

This grim truth accounts then for the Islamic State's imminent plans to murder Jewish children in Turkey.

Sky News reports that ISIS is planning an attack, at any moment, on Jewish kindergartens, schools and youth centers. Information about the plot was obtained from six ISIS jihadis arrested in the Turkish city of Gaziantep, according to the report.

The most likely target is Istanbul's synagogue in Beyoglu, which also hosts a community center and school:

"In light of these circumstances, extraordinary security measures are being taken above and beyond the high alert level already in place by the Turkish police, as well as vigilance within the Jewish community," an intelligence source told Sky News.

"Undercover and other covert counter-terror measures are being implemented around the clock.

"This is a more than credible threat. This is an active plot," the source added.

The series of threats and the specific targeting of Jewish children follow the deadly attack in Istanbul on 19 March when five people were killed by a suicide bomber, including four Israelis, and the murder of another 35 in Brussels last week.

An intelligence report seen by Sky News said: "The so-called Islamic State is believed to be behind both sets of attacks and the organisation continues in determined efforts to perpetrate further attacks in Turkey and elsewhere."

The threat against Jewish targets, intelligence sources said, was the best information gathered on an imminent attack.

"We don't know when it's scheduled for. It could be in the next 24 hours or next few days," the source said.

It is worth noting that if Jewish schools are being targeted in Turkey, then they are being targeted around the world.

Of course moral relativists will rush to claim that ISIS targets everyone, including fellow Muslims, as proof Islamic terrorists don't discriminate against any one particular group or religion. Such an assertion could not be farther from the truth.

Below are excerpts from an article I wrote in 2013 explaining just a few key points about Islamic anti-Semitism and its roots in Islamic faith doctrine:

Found within the Quran itself are numerous verses citing Allah’s hex on the Jewish people and their subsequent damnation to live as the aforementioned swine, and primates. Quran verse 5:60 is the key to the kingdom in this regard and serves as the basis for all modern-day iterations. The Hilali-Khan Quranic translation of this verse reads as follows:

Say (O Muhammad SAW to the people of the Scripture): “Shall I inform you of something worse than that, regarding the recompense from Allah: those (Jews) who incurred the Curse of Allah and His Wrath, those of whom (some) He transformed into monkeys and swines, those who worshipped Taghut (false deities); such are worse in rank (on the Day of Resurrection in the Hellfire), and far more astray from the Right Path (in the life of this world).”

A central tenet of Islam, I explained, is that the Jewish people (and to a lesser extent, their Christian counterparts) supposedly "transgressed against Allah," slaying the prophets and subverting God’s will. As a curse, these infidels -- Jews -- are condemned to live out their days as a devolved species; the aforementioned apes and swine.

Quranic verse 2:16 along with verse 3:112 – which, not coincidentally, also serves as the preamble for the Hamas charter — explains:

Indignity is put over them wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allah, and from men; they have drawn on themselves the Wrath of Allah, and destruction is put over them. This is because they disbelieved in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they disobeyed (Allah) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allah’s disobedience, crimes and sins).

The Jewish people are abjured again in verse 5:78:

Those among the Children of Israel who disbelieved were cursed by the tongue of Dawud (David) and ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). That was because they disobeyed (Allah and the Messengers) and were ever transgressing beyond bounds.

Their curse is to dwell the earth, reviled as apes. Verses 7:166 and 2:65:

And well ye knew those amongst you who transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath: We said to them: “Be ye apes, despised and rejected.”

Hellfire awaits Jews who were struck down in verses 4:55, 5:29, 98:6, and 58:14 -19:

Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.

And of them were (some) who believed therein and of them were (some) who turned away from it. Hell is sufficient for (their) burning.

Allah has prepared for them a severe torment. Evil indeed is that which they used to do.

As I wrote back then, the history of Islamic anti-Semitism dates back to the religion’s founding and has spilled centuries-worth of Jewish blood across the Middle East and Maghreb. Jew-hatred is as much a part of the Islamic faith as the "jummah" or Friday call to prayer.

Islamic terrorists, whether they be affiliated with ISIS, al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, Muslim Brotherhood, or are simply "lone wolves," indeed target people from all walks of life, but never be misled -- at the Quranic-level there is a Big Satan (Jews) and a Little Satan (Christians).

At this moment barbarians are plotting to murder Jewish children. When will enough blood be spilled before the West wakes up and admits that Islam, the faith, has everything to do with it?
