How to Date an Intersectional Feminist

A conspiracy theory designed to be immune to criticism.

As a service to our readers who might be asking themselves, "How can I get a date with an intersectional feminist?" TruthRevolt brings to you this summary of a recent article at Everyday Feminism, "10 Things Every Intersectional Feminist Should Ask On a First Date" for you to study in order to pass muster. You're welcome.

First of all, for a quick primer of what the heck intersectional feminism is and why you should care, check out the video above by "The Factual Feminist," Christina Hoff Sommers.

Everyday Feminism may seem like a parody site, but it's deadly serious radical leftism. The article in question was written by Lara Witt, who "writes about self-care, pop culture and deconstructing systems of oppression." If you think she sounds like she would make a fun date, check out the list of questions she urges fellow intersectional feminists to raise on first dates, and her advice on how to respond:

1. Do you believe that Black Lives Matter?

Witt refuses to deal with someone who doesn't agree that white privilege exists.

2. What are your thoughts on gender and sexual orientation?

Since one of "the many important elements to dismantling patriarchy is to abolish gender roles," it's vital that you're not transphobic or stuck in a fusty old binary mindset about gender.

3. How do you work to dismantle sexism and misogyny in your life?

"Does the person you are with understand rape culture, systemic sexism, and misogynoir?" If not, walk away, because that person is not sufficiently down with the revolution.

4. What are your thoughts on sex work?

"Being pro-sex worker is a necessary pillar of dismantling the patriarchy." That doesn't mean you pay for prostitutes every weekend; it means you understand that supporting them "is crucial to understanding the oppressive structures of our world."

5. Are you a supporter of the BDS movement?

"Being pro-Palestine and BDS is a necessary part of intersectionality." Why? Because intersectional feminism is about the destruction of all existing "oppressive" entities, including the "occupier force" Israel, and the support of all "oppressed" entities, including Muslims.

6. What is your understanding of settler colonialism and indigenous rights?

The "European genocide of Native Americans" is bad, "because of white supremacy and the colonialist entitlement to finite resources and land." Every other instance of genocide or "settler colonialism" throughout world history is irrelevant because only white Europeans can be evil oppressors.

7. Do you think capitalism is exploitative?

"Anti-capitalism, especially in the U.S., is imperative if you have an understanding of systemic racism, the prison industrial complex, the 13th Amendment, and exploitation." If your date is pro-capitalism, they're only going to exploit you in a relationship.

8. Can any human be illegal?

"It’s mind-boggling that borders are even a thing, so to call people 'aliens' or 'illegal immigrants' is so inhumane and despicable.

"White Americans stole this land, colonized this land, created so many borders, pushed out, killed and enslaved people of color and somehow they have the audacity to claim that this land is theirs and that black and brown immigrants are stealing their jobs, land, and homes? Miss me with that bullshit."

So, probably not a good idea to wear a MAGA hat on this date.

9. Do you support Muslim Americans and non-Muslim people from Islamic countries?

"I can’t think of any other religion which has been vilified and lied about more than Islam in a cultural and systemic way." Um, Christianity?

"I cannot imagine for a second even claiming to be a feminist if I didn’t stand in solidarity with my Muslim friends and family — especially now, especially after 9/11.

"Don’t waste your time and energy on dating someone who thinks that Islam is inherently violent or misogynistic."

Don't waste your time with facts, in other words.

10. Does your allyship include disabled folks?

"On a date with someone who uses ableist slurs? Walk away."

So it might not go over well, for example, to criticize your intersectional feminist date by saying he/she/xe is a mental cripple.

After subjecting one's first date to this checklist of wokeness, it's difficult to imagine that there would be a second date. But ideological harmony is much more important to intersectional feminists than base motives like just enjoying someone's company or getting laid.

As much of a joke as it may seem to be, intersectional feminism is a very serious threat indeed. It is the tip of the spear of cultural Marxism today. As you can see from the Everyday Feminism article, it combines all the key aims of the left in one handy package: open borders, willful blindness about Islam, the dismantling of capitalism and the "patriarchy," and the eradication of the Jewish state. And as Christina Hoff Sommers notes in her video, it is a conspiracy theory designed to be immune to criticism.

No wonder dating is such a minefield these days.
