If anyone out there is still confused about the proper conjugation all those gender-neutral pronouns you’re using in everyday conversation, worry no more. The LGBT resource center at Kennesaw State University in Georgia has issued a chart that will clear things right up... or not since they’re not real words.

Campus Reform got an advance copy of the pamphlet which informs:

Some people don’t feel like traditional gender pronouns (she/her/he/him) fit their gender identities. Transgender, genderqueer, and other gender-variant people may choose different pronouns for themselves. The following guid is a starting point for using pronouns respectfully.

The pamphlet informs the unwoke that we’re not required to know the proper pronouns for strangers, but said if its people we’re more familiar with we need to ask, “What pronouns do you use?”

But things can get even more confusing because as the pamphlet notes, “[People] may change their pronouns without changing their name, appearance, or gender identity.” So, regular “check-ins” are advised. 

The five-point system is “Listen, Ask, Understand, Clarify, Respect.” Why? Because “Pronouns matter.”

A freshman at the university told CR that administrators handed out the pamphlet this week at the student center and he was shocked by such stupidity:

“It is a disgrace, because I thought that my school was one of the few schools left that weren't teaching these things. But when I found this, I felt really disappointed. Why is this university entertaining something as useless as this? … None of those pronouns exist in the English language, so it's pretty much ridiculous that they're trying to teach this."
