Hollywood Harassment Roundup: November 8

Charlie Sheen, Ed Westwick, and a Harvey Weinstein Update

Well, things have escalated quickly since the last update on Monday

Charlie Sheen

A friend of actor Corey Haim has come forward to say that the late child actor was raped by Charlie Sheen when they worked together on the 1986 film Lucas. According to the friend, fellow actor Dominick Brascia, 13 year-old Haim was raped by a 19-year-old Sheen when he rejected the older man's advances, an allegation Sheen denies. Keep in mind that Charlie Sheen's ex-wife said in her divorce papers that she believed he was looking at pornography featuring underaged boys. Haim reportedly told many friends about the alleged sexual abuse before his death in 2010 at the age of 38.

Ed Westwick

Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick has been accused of raping a friend's girlfriend three years ago. Cohen says that she was dating a producer at the time who took her to Westwick's house where she was awakened to find herself being sexually assaulted by Westwick. She tried to fight him off, she says, but was physically unable to do so. “I do not know this woman,” Westwick, wrote on Instagram on Tuesday. “I have never forced myself in any manner on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape.”

Harvey Weinstein

Sources have told the New York Post that the NYPD is ready to put Harvey Weinstein in handcuffs right now, but Manhattan's district attorney instead plans to present the case to a grand jury and is waiting for an indictment. This is expected to happen next week.
