This is horrendous. The Heritage Foundation formulates and promotes conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense. According to its website, it is the "largest single land owner on Capitol Hill, with offices just 1000 steps from the House and 500 steps from the Senate." It also means that it was a convenient target when radical leftists showed up Tuesday to storm the building's lobby and occupy it. Apparently, they were protesting President Trump's proposed budget which will make cuts to the Environmental Protection Agency.
The Daily Caller has footage of the activists on their way to the building. In the secretly recorded, undercover video, you'll see one of the leaders giving the protestors talking points, advice, and counsel on what to do.
Watch what happens when they get to the building. The activists take over the lobby and shout, “Water not walls,” and “The people will never be divided.”
This radical leftist organization bragged about their activity Tuesday on Twitter:
and
Observers estimate that there were around one hundred protestors who occupied the building for probably fifteen minutes until security was able to get them out of the building -- which is bad enough. However, The Federalist Papers included this ominous detail: "As the protesters were taken out from the lobby, they all chanted in unison 'We’ll be back.'”

On Facebook, Joshua Sharf writes: “If the press were fair, they’d ask every Democrat everywhere to denounce this. Then again, if the press were fair, the Free Beacon wouldn’t be the only ones reporting on it.” Yeah, if Tea Partiers had done this at the Urban League’s HQ, we’d be hearing wall-to-wall reports of how fascism had arrived in America.
