In what is either a blatant lie, poor fact checking, or extreme liberal bias, ABC’s 'Good Morning America' produced a computer illustration showing the weapon used in last weeks L.A.X. shooting as a select-fire M16 with an attached M203 grenade launcher.

In the computer animation, shooting suspect Paul Anthony Ciancia can be seen holding the weapon. Only one problem: that wasn't the weapon Ciancia used. The weapon used in the shooting was actually a Smith & Wesson M&P15 modern sporting rifle.

It's quite nice to know that a major news network such as ABC feels the need to take creative liberties to fabricate such a lie.  But to go so far as to add a grenade launcher for a more dramatic impact is somewhat over the top.
