Florida Professor Thought State Troopers Were ‘Armed Aryan Militia

The triggering is strong with this one.

Sometimes you just have to laugh at the ridiculousness of the Left.

White supremacist Richard Spencer came to the University of Florida to give a speech this week, so naturally, leftists determined they were under a direct threat of violence because words they don’t agree with were going to be uttered on campus. Security had been tightened for the event days before and Gov. Rick Scott, a Republican, mind you, even declared a state of emergency.

So, it’s understandable that the delicate students would be freaking out all over the place, but one would expect professors to keep a level head. But, of course, we know that never happens. Here’s what a geography professor e-mailed out to his students:

FYI, I just walked into Turlington 10 minutes ago, and there were armed Aryan Brotherhood militia circling the building. It feels like they are testing how much they can get away with, openly carrying weapons.

That message was spread far and wide both as a warning to others and as a hilarious example of stupidity, because what that professor saw were actually Florida state troopers dressed in khakis:

To make matters worse, someone reported seeing a noose on campus, but that was false. The Washington Free Beacon pointed out that so many rumors were being called in that police couldn’t even address them all.

What is wrong with these people?
