Fiorina Criticizes Hillary for Standing By Bill in Wake of Sex Scandals

"If my husband were doing that, I would have left him... and I would have apologized to all those women."

With Bill Clinton’s past indiscretions with women and the possibility of a Cosby-like sexual assault scandal looming over Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, Republican candidate Carly Fiorina is challenging Hillary’s complaisance in the wake of her husband’s poor behavior.

Interviewed on “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel yesterday, Fiorina commented on Donald Trump’s decision to make Bill Clinton’s sexcapades an issue in his wife’s presidential campaign:

Oh, sure it’s fair game. Look, everything Bill Clinton has done fair game. He’s a former president. I just don’t think that’s the most effective way to beat Hillary Clinton. Because while all that was going on, there were a lot of women who felt, for whatever reason, great sympathy for Hillary Clinton. Look, if my husband were doing that, I would have left him. I wouldn’t have behaved the way Hillary Clinton did, and I would have apologized to all those women.

Sean Hannity asked Fiorina:

Do you think she’s an enabler…do you think she assisted in the besmirching and the smearing and the slandering [of the women who accused Bill Clinton]

Fiorina responded:

Well sure she did, of course she did….but the most effective way to beat Hillary Clinton is to remind voters of Hillary Clinton’s behavior.
