Joss Whedon is a big, important Hollywood director of such fare as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the upcoming Batgirl. Tragically, making big-budget cartoons for a living has stunted his development so that despite being 52 years old, he has yet to become a grownup.

Well-known for his repulsive, hateful social media posts attacking Republicans, Whedon may have spewed his most disgusting tweet yet. Newsbusters reports that on Thursday evening, he sent out a picture of House Speaker Paul Ryan to his 178,000 followers along with a caption implying that Ryan is a pedophile.

Newsbusters helpfully provided a screen cap of the tweet in case Whedon takes it down, which is unlikely because he is normally unapologetic about his juvenile insults. It reads, “Tonight on White House Wife Hunt, Donny makes host P. Ryan give 2 more contestants the ‘Not a 10” card’”:

This would be disgusting under any circumstances, but as it turns out, the young women Ryan met with at the Speaker’s Balcony were survivors of childhood cancer. Below is the original tweet from Ryan’s government account:

The childish pig Whedon owes everyone involved an apology, but more likely he will double down on his anti-conservative bigotry before going back to making expensive cartoons.
