Dalai Lama Prayed for Nancy Pelosi to Get Rid of Her ‘Negative Attitude’

That’s going to take more than one Tibetan prayer.

Nancy Pelosi met with the Dalai Lama on Wednesday in his temple in Dharmasala, India, and the House minority leader said the Tibetan spiritual leader prayed for her to get rid of her “negative attitude.”

During her speech on human rights and the defense of the Tibetan people, Pelosi blamed the “brutal tactics of the Chinese government” in using its economic power to “silence the voices of friends of Tibet.” She added that if nations don’t stand up to China’s oppression, “We lose all moral authority to talk about human rights anywhere else in the world.”

“We will not be silenced,” Pelosi said. “You will not be silenced.”

But she stopped right there and made this confession in front of the crowd:

“So, the brutal tactics of the Chinese government — I won’t go into them, because his holiness prayed for me that I would rid myself of my negative attitude about dwelling on the negative too much.”

“But the brutal tactics of the Chinese government…” she continued, proving she’s going to need more than one prayer from the Dalai Lama to overcome decades of negativity.

Hopefully, he also prayed over her confusion that George W. Bush is, in fact, no longer president:
