CNN Praises Kimmel’s Anti-GOP Sketch as ‘Hilarious’ and ‘True’

CNN should rename to CHB, for Can’t Hide Bias.

Late-night talker Jimmy Kimmel parodied a Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets trailer to mock the Republican Party for discussing the health care bill behind closed doors. While that is to be expected from a show based in comedy, CNN used it to accentuate and legitimize its coverage of the story.

After playing Kimmel’s version, “Mitch McConnell and the Chamber of Secrets,” anchor Alisyn Camerota laughed, called it “hilarious” and “true” and pitched over to political correspondent Dana Bash for additional commentary.

Bash agreed with her colleague that it’s “hard to report on something, we have such scant details of,” and claimed that the talks surrounding Obamacare were much more transparent. Of course, that’s not true at all and even she admitted it:

“Look, certainly the process now to repeal ObamaCare in the Senate versus actually putting ObamaCare in place is very different. It was lengthy. There were, you know, scores of hearings and so on and so forth. But I cannot tell you how many blisters I got on my feet standing outside closed-door meetings that Democrats were having about what they were putting together in the final days of the ObamaCare legislation…”

So, really, it was no different after all, thus proving CNN’s devotion to Obama and anti-anything-Trump.
