MSNBC’s Chris Matthews thinks the worst thing you can say about Democrats is that they’re “too pure,” despite the resignations of Sen. Al Franken and Rep. John Conyers over sexual harassment allegations. Not to mention Bill Clinton, Anthony Weiner, or the scores of sexual predators in leftist Hollywood and the biased news media. But Matthews must be right -- he’s on the news!

On Thursday’s Hardball, Matthews said the Republican Party might learn a thing or two from the Democrats whom he views as taking the high ground by sacrificing Franken to make a statement against the continued support of Roy Moore, who has been accused of dating teenagers when he was in his 30s back in the 1970s.

“I don’t know how you can avoid the education in this,” the delusional Matthews said excitedly. “The worst you can say about Democrats is they’re too pure.”

“These guys set too high a standard for public office,” he added.

Matthews is known to get a thrill up his leg once in a while, and it appears he's got a new one for the Dems — a party in shambles right now.
