Chelsea Clinton knows a thing or two about the dangers of making up fake attacks; perhaps that’s why she is currently dispensing advice on the matter.
In a Twitter response to this morning's terror attack at the Louvre, the Clinton daughter took a jab at President Trump’s counselor Kellyanne Conway, who is taking some heat right now over her comments about the “Bowling Green massacre” — a terror attack that never happened.
Conway has since explained that she misspoke when on air with Chris Matthews and meant to say “Bowling Green terrorists” — a group of men who were caught before they could carry out their plot. But that didn't stop Clinton from joining in the jolly mocking of Conway, urging her not to make up attacks:
But isn’t she forgetting one, small detail? Wasn’t it her mom, Hillary Clinton, who blatantly lied IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE WORLD that she landed in Bosnia under heavy sniper fire when she was the first lady? Chelsea should know, she was “there:”
The media are having a field day with Conway’s gaffe but wasn’t too quick on pointing out Hillary’s way back when. It took an outlet like Newsbusters to break the story before the mainstream got a clue: “Eventually the rest of the media got on board, but for some outlets, it took years to report the falsehood, and even then it was severely downplayed.”
Nice try, Chelsea, but maybe you shouldn’t be the one to call out someone for making up a “completely fake” attack like your mother did.
