The Democratic party is in shambles and has, to date, not one dynamic soul in its ranks who can resurrect the party from the ashes. So, why not prime Chelsea Clinton to run for office? Given her increased yet lackluster presence on Twitter, we all know that's been the plan. Not to mention, as TruthRevolt reported last Thursday, Chelsea herself suggested a future run.
The former First Child herself told CBS News This Morning on Tuesday that while she has no plans to challenge President Trump in 2020, she's not ruling out the possibility of running some day.
Lord help us.
"I think to run for public office, though, a few things have to be true," Clinton began.
"I think you have to have a clear vision of what you would do in a given job... I clearly don’t agree with our president, but I’m definitely not the right person to run to defeat him in 2020. So right now, the answer is no. But I think we all need to be asking ourselves that question periodically."
