Black Women Credited for Defeating Roy Moore, Now They Demand to Be Paid

Several voting blocks are getting the credit for helping defeat Republican Roy Moore in the Senate special election in Alabama on Tuesday. Of course, Democrats came out in droves to vote for Doug Jones. Then there were those conservatives who didn’t back Moore. And finally, the black vote, which overwhelmingly went for Jones. However, only one group is demanding payment for pulling out the win.

Among Alabamians who voted in Tuesday’s election, 17 percent were black women. Of those women, 98 percent pulled the lever for Jones. Below is an exit-poll chart that shows the breakdown of votes by gender and race. It’s not a super woke chart because it’s only the gender binary, but it does show how many blacks in all voted for Jones and the very few that voted for Moore. Now, pay up!
