On Wednesday, President Trump was surrounded by members of the Republican Party as they celebrated the passage of the tax bill. One of those elected leaders was Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC). As the only black man in the frame of C-SPAN’s shot, many leftists concluded he was being used as a token prop. Scott didn’t take kindly to that in the least.
Andy Ostroy, a contributor at HuffPost, made a public comment about the scene on Twitter:
“What a shocker, there’s ONE black person there and sure enough they have him standing right next to the mic like a manipulated prop.”
Sen. Scott caught wind of this whiny leftist and absolutely destroyed him with this reply:
Ostroy felt that in his gut, promptly deleted his original tweet, and issued an apology:
But it didn’t take him long to be back to true form:
Don't you just love when lefties are called out for being racist and they say, "What I said is not who I am; I should've said it better?" Yeah, we're well aware of your true nature.
Do yourself a favor — forget about Ostroy and watch Sen. Scott’s great speech below:
