Joe Scarborough voiced and appeared in a bizarre MSNBC ad for his Monday through Friday show Morning Joe​. His co-host Mika Brzezinski, bikini-clad pageant queens, a snake and the host smoking a pipe riding across the East River to Manhattan are also seen in the ad.

Scarborough says in the 30-second spot,

I don't know how I do it, but I wake up every morning feeling refreshed. Awashed in a "can do" attitude that helps me succeed. You know maybe that's why I enjoy so many mornings where I don't hit a single red light on my way into work. And once I'm there, everything is under control. We'll be there when you wake up, Morning Joe! Weekdays 6 to 9!

While the voiceover plays, Scarborough is seen throwing a clock at a wall, drawing a frown face in the steam on a bathroom mirror and being hit with glitter in the middle of chaos at the MSNBC studios at 30 Rock. Toward the end of the bizarre and risque promotion he walks out of the NBC headquarters in famous Rockefeller Plaza casually putting on and buttoning up his suit coat.
