In Denver on Tuesday, Bill Clinton defended remarks made by Hillary Clinton recently about the state of the family's finances. Speaking with NBC's David Gregory, President Clinton suggested that the couple lives like normal people and that Hillary was definitely not "out of touch."
"We go to our local grocery store on the weekend. We talk to people in our town. We know what's going on."
The Clintons live in Chappaqua, New York, one of the 50 wealthiest places to live in the United States.
Clinton also tells Gregory that Hillary is not out of touch and that she advocated and worked as a Senator for things that were good for "ordinary" people.
