Scandal star Kerry Washington became quite the fan favorite among the LGBT crowd this past weekend when she gave a rousing speech at the 2015 GLAAD Media Awards to an audience of rabid leftists looking to feel good about themselves for going "aww" when seeing a five-year-old little girl get transformed into a boy by her "tolerant" parents.
In reception of the Vanguard Award Saturday night for her allegiance to the LGBT community, Washington resorted to the same tired talking points one could glean from an afternoon binge on Glee and really served no other purpose than to illustrate how utterly clueless leftists have become to their own hypocrisy with their undying love for gays and ubridled contempt for the unborn.
Regarding those who reject gay marriage, Washington said of them, "we can't say we believe in each other's fundamental humanity and then turn a blind eye to the reality of each other's existence."
"As long as anyone, anywhere is being made to feel less human, our very definition of humanity is at stake, and we are all vulnerable," she concluded.
It should come as no surprise that Kerry Washington would use these words to promote gay marriage, because she knows exactly what it means to make people "feel less human" since she has no idea what the "definition of humanity" actually means. If Kerry Washington had any clue what constitutes "being human," she would have never acted in a 2012 pro-abortion TV spot advising women to vote for Barack Obama because those evil pro-lifers want to "overturn Roe v. Wade." Notice the cross seen laced around her neck and try to hold your lunch. See video below:
Employing the classical Marxist "solidarity" trope, Washington specified she cared not just about the rights of gays, but all "citizens around the world," which she classified as the "others". The "others" include: "women, poor people, people of color, people with disabilities, immigrants, gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, trans people, and intersex people." I guess Christians being slaughtered by ISIS and Boko Haram don't have enough of that "otherness" to make Kerry Washington's list.
Why did she include "people with disabilities" at all? Can she really claim to care about them when 9 out of 10 babies diagnosed with Down Syndrome get aborted in the womb? Did she even think about that when she laced a gold cross around her neck and paraded before the camera to promote so-called abortion rights? What about those "people of color" anyway? Does Kerry Washington not know that more black babies were aborted in NYC last year than were allowed born? We can all be rest assured that most of the unborn babies aborted since Kerry Washington's little PSA in 2012 were "poor people" with some future "women" sprinkled throughout.
To leftists like Kerry Washington, there is no such thing as "human" in their eyes. Humans only become "human" to leftists when they conform to their socially engineered agenda of what they think humans should be doing, and if they don't, they have no basic human rights. If you're an unborn child who unfortunately finds themselves in the womb of a Kerry Washington or Scarlett Johansson, you have only the right to be sucked into a vacuum and clipped into a dozen pieces. If you are a bible-believing Christian who supports traditional marriage, you have only the right to sit by helplessly while the local government shuts down your business and ruin your reputation for refusing to service a gay "wedding." If you are the CEO of a popular tech company, you have only the right to be fired for believing marriage should remain between a man and a woman. "Human" and "rights" are luxury titles to the left and apply only to those they deem fit enough to receive them.
New atheist Richard Dawkins wants the state to regulate religious education, gay activist Dan Savage wants mandatory abortion for population control, former Vice President Al Gore wants to "punish climate change deniers," feminist Amanda Marcotte wants to abort babies with Down Syndrome, and Houston's lesbian mayor Annise Parker wants to issue subpoenas demanding pastors turn over their sermons on homosexuality. Anyone who exists outside their ideological prism of utopian perfection, leftists deny their humanity to the point of death.
Leading into her speech, Washington flat-out stated she desired her speech be heard by many, narcissistically claiming that all those unenlightened, bigoted masses she so abhors will, of course, "click a link on Monday morning to hear what that woman from Scandal said at that award show" after their Facebook friends post it under statuses that read, "OMG! My keyboard's drowning in tears!"
"I think some stuff needs to be said," she later shouted.
Kerry Washington, you are absolutely right, stuff does need to be said, and hopefully, people will find this article and see just exactly what that "stuff" is.
