WATCH: Mike Pence Accidentally Bumps Kid in Face, Kid Hunts Him Down for an Apology

Hey, kid, you just got bopped in the nose by the vice president. Consider it an honor.

Check out this future Democrat voter in the making.

On Tuesday, Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, were joined by Ivanka Trump and national security adviser H.R. McMaster for a White House event hosting military families.

At the climax of Pence’s speech, the vice president broadened his arms and said, “God bless these wonderful kids.” His sleeve appeared to brush up against a boy's face who was standing next to the podium. Pence felt nothing, walked away, and began greeting all the kids. But the little boy followed him around, saying, “Excuse me” at least four times. At one point the boy demanded, “You owe me an apology.”

Finally, the boy managed to get Pence’s attention and tell him he’d been wronged and the vice president replied, “Oh, I’m very sorry. I didn’t mean to bop you,” and gave the kid a pat on the head.

The Huffington Post thought enough of the non-incident to give it a video feature and surely to illicit the strong reactions the liberal outlet knew would flow out. And, boy, did it on Facebook:

“Give that kid a medal. He just took down a racist, homophobic, piece of trash.”

“Get in line, kid, he's got to apologize to roughly 320 million people.”

“That's how they intend on running this country lol. Hurting the little people and not wanting to apologize or admit that they did wrong hahahahaha.”

“Oh! He's afraid of being alone with women but not with little girls, hugging them and touching? Pervert! What about the boys behind? MikePence Dirty old man.”

But we say, take it like a man and tell everybody you once got punched in the nose from the vice president of the United States. That’s a badge of honor, kid.
