President Obama is saying many of the right words in the above video from HeatStreet, but expect them not to be heeded. And why should they be? He doesn't mean them, and the ultra-sensitive crybabies at our colleges and universities know it. He helped create them after all.
We have written extensively here at TruthRevolt about the infantilization of college students, and you can see above exactly what is produced by such ridiculous policies. You get kids with little-to-no ability to face the world who are traumatized not by war or terror or hardship but merely by the sound of someone voicing a disagreeable opinion. How utterly sad. How depressing for our future.
At HeatStreet, Andrew Stiles writes that these "special snowflakes can get pretty rowdy when their 'safe spaces' are violated by uncomfortable thoughts," which is exactly right. And that's the word they love and hate: "uncomfortable." When words make college kids uncomfortable, it is a given on the left that they must be coddled and made to feel safe and warm and in the womb again.
Their attitude toward a person's comfort is precisely the opposite, of course, when it comes to men in women's restrooms. For leftists, there are two sides to every story, and they're against both. Or for both, depending on how it best suits their agenda.
In any case, watch the clip closely, if you can bear it. You can almost see America's future floating away on the breeze.
