Here is some more fake news for you which, shockingly, didn’t come from CNN. This time, The Washington Post tried its darnedest to turn a left-wing terrorist into a right-wing radio listener.
Remember James Hodgkinson, the Bernie Sanders volunteer who shot Republican Rep. Steve Scalise and three others at a congressional baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia last month? Yes, the same leftist who had a kill list of Republicans and was a member of the Facebook group “Terminate the Republican Party.” It’s been confidently established that he was sold out to liberalism. No question.
But WaPo made a startling connection that might make us all think twice about what we previously knew about Hodgkinson: he came from the same town as a right-wing radio host and probably listened to him and got riled up on the “rage-filled radio host” who “channels middle America’s inner frustration.”
Is that enough proof to change your mind on Hodginkson’s motivations? Surely not, but that didn’t stop WaPo from trying.
PJ Media explains:
Right-wing shock jock Bob Romanik is described by Peter Holley, the author of the [WaPo] piece, as "a surly 68-year-old former East St. Louis street cop" who habitually uses the "N" word.
Romanik is the type of uncouth, racist caricature lefties think every conservative white male is like. "He hates Black Lives Matter and talks proudly about his Caucasian heritage to anyone who will listen," Holley writes with apparent disdain.
In his piece, Holley notes that Romanik is the “self-styled ‘Grim Reaper of Radio’" and appears regionally on KQQZ 1190 AM in and around Belleville, Illinois, just 20 miles east of St. Louis.
Holley described Hodgkinson as “the out-of-work politically frustrated home inspector who up and left, drove a van to the Washington area, and then shot four people at a congressional baseball practice in Alexandria” conveniently leaving out everything about the shooter's anti-GOP hatred.
So, how could Holley link the shooter to this radio host? Because Romanik said, “I can’t say for sure if this Hodgkinson guy listened to me, but he probably did. If people would be honest about what drove Hodgkinson to the point of violence, you’d probably see a lot of people right on the same page with him all over the country. But around here, for sure.”
You call that proof? Apparently, that’s all the Left needs to connect the dots.
Perhaps WaPo isn’t aware that the vast majority of terror attacks are perpetrated by leftists. Had they read TruthRevolt, they’d know that already.
