Never missing an opportunity to show the world what they truly stand for, leftist activists trampled on and set an American Flag ablaze at a demonstration held outside the GOP debate Tuesday evening. 

Milwaukee police officers responded swiftly, quelling the flames with a fire extinguisher. The Department's Facebook page noted that the plume emitted from the extinguisher prompted a string of erroneous reports complaining that officers had deployed tear gas on protestors. 

Officers Joel Rossman, Jedidiah Thompson and Jutiki X honored the remains of the flag, folding and saluting it ceremoniously.  The Milwaukee PD states that the flag has been taken to be "inventoried for possible charges against the protester."

The photo below of a black activist (we are not certain if this is the same flag that was burned, or yet another one) treading on the American flag was shared on social media by Democratic State Sen. Lena Taylor.
