The graduates of the University of Notre Dame were given a special treat this weekend when Vice President Mike Pence spoke at their commencement ceremony. Pence shared his enthusiasm for the moment on Twitter:

When he was introduced, the university administrator praised the former governor. "Even those who disagree with Mike Pence recognize him as a man of principle," he said. "I do as well." However, as soon as Pence began to speak, some petulant snowflakes got up and walked out -- interrupting the speech and ruining the moment for the other, less puerile graduates. Here's the moment:

Regrettably, this has become a trend. College students have been so coddled and protected from the Big Bad World (where people might not kowtow to their precise worldview), they don't even know how to handle disagreement. Recently, TruthRevolt's Trey Sanchez reported on the chilly reception given to Education Secretary Betsy DeVos as she was speaking at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. During her talk, the graduates booed to drown out her message.

This has got to stop. If colleges can't even teach students how to deal and engage with the real world, they have utterly failed in their mission. As bestselling author Brad Thor tweeted, "If you can't even listen to a commencement address, good luck finding a boss or a spouse you never disagree with."
