Vice: Climate Change Denial Should Be a Crime

“Climate change is killing us right now.”

Much like a similar suggestion made not long ago by TV host and climate change shill Bill Nye the "Science Guy," a Vice journalist has flatly declared that those who disagree with him on climate change should be charged with a crime.

Newsbusters reports that, in a 2,600-word story on Sept. 1, Motherboard editor Brian Merchant wrote, “The science is too clear about what will happen in the near-term to continue to allow profiteers and ideologues to place the public in danger without consequence.” Motherboard is Vice Media’s science and technology outlet.

The story included fear-mongering statements such as: a “state-sponsored disinformation campaign is putting residents in very real danger”; “Climate change denial can and will leave people dead”; and “Climate change is killing us right now.”

“Climate change denial should be a crime,” Merchant concluded, in another example of the totalitarian left's lust to punish thought crimes against leftist narratives.

In the story, Merchant asserted that Hurricane Harvey “is what climate change looks like." But WeatherBell meteorologist Joe Bastardi challenged Merchant’s claim on Twitter, asking “How do you explain so many storms stronger than Harvey, most from over 50 years ago?”

Bastardi also pointed out that no one denies the “climate changes.”

“Lying like this should be crime,” Bastardi tweeted regarding Merchant’s story.
