Donald Trump offered his opinion about President Obama's final State of the Union speech on Twitter saying it was "really boring."
The #SOTU speech is really boring, slow, lethargic - very hard to watch!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 13, 2016 Presidential candidate Ted Cruz, who did not attend the event, also chimed in with his opinion about the speech.
Tonight's speech was less a State of the Union and more a state of denial. #SOTU
— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) January 13, 2016 Senator Rand Paul, who also did not attend the speech tweeted out his reaction and also provided a video response to President Obama, calling for a strong defense of the Bill of Rights, among other things.
I just yelled, "you lie" really loud. Good thing I'm not there. #SOTU
— Dr. Rand Paul (@RandPaul) January 13, 2016 Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee described the speech as a TSA pat down.
.@BarackObama's speeches are like @TSA pat downs, Arab relations & untreated rashes. Painfully bad. But it will get worse. #SOTU
