Trump Stands For Anthem at NCAA Championship Game, Player Shouts 'F*** Trump!'

The "American dream," the president said, "is roaring back to life."

Few things trigger the Left like heartfelt expressions of patriotism from a Republican president, particularly President Donald Trump, whom they consider an insane white supremacist. The Left sneers at public displays like flag-waving or pledging allegiance or singing the national anthem, because leftists aren't in the business of celebrating American exceptionalism; they're in the business of undermining it.

Fox News reports that President Trump appeared at the NCAA championship game between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide Monday night. He was received with a mix of cheers and jeers as he entered Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium and walked onto the field to stand proudly with hand on heart during the playing of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” occasionally singing along with the Zac Brown Band. This was in sharp contrast to the protests of overpaid, ungrateful NFL players taking a knee during the pregame anthem.

Earlier that same day, Trump had delivered a speech in Nashville to the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Annual Convention. "In every decision we make," he declared, "we are honoring America's proud farming legacy." The "American dream," said the President who is making America great again -- to the Left's -- "is roaring back to life."

Plans for the president’s visit had been met with criticism from the Atlanta chapter of the NAACP, which urged supporters on its Facebook page who planned to attend the game to protest Trump's presence:

"We will not let the President’s visit go without a response. If you are lucky enough to attend the game, we encourage you to bring a white towel to wave simulating a blizzard while the president is in the packed stadium," the NAACP said. "Trump supporters mockingly call the opposition snowflakes, but when we come together we create a mighty storm."

There is no word as to whether Trump was met with a blizzard of towel-waving, so the NAACP's mighty storm must have fizzled out. But prior to the game, as the Alabama team came off the field after pregame warmups, running back Bo Scarbrough was caught on video yelling "F*** Trump":

Scarbrough has every right as an American to express his political opinion openly. It would just be a welcome change if once in awhile such leftists could actually formulate an opinion more intelligent and articulate than an angry expletive. We're not holding our breath.
