After refusing to explain the difference between a Democrat and a socialist for the second time on national television Sunday, Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schulz has yet again backed herself into a corner. Monday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump jumped on the opportunity to take a jab at the Democrat's "terrible spokesperson."
On "Fox & Friends" Monday morning, Trump commented on Wasserman Schultz' consistent refusal to explain the difference between the two ideologies (first with MSNBC's Chris Matthews and second with NBC's Chuck Todd).
TRUMP: Well I think she's a terrible spokesperson. I watched [her response], and thought it was terrible. I thought her performance was terrible. I really think she is not a good spokesperson for whoever she is representing.
Trump added that he hopes she'll remain DNC chair if he wins so she can continue to represent the Democrat party so badly:
TRUMP: Frankly, you know, I hope she stays in that position. Assuming I win, I just hope she stays in that position. Because she is so bad at representing the views of the Democrats that it’s absolutely incredible.
