MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski picked the worst day to body shame the female hosts over at Fox News as Wednesday was International Women’s Day.
Brzezinski actually showed up to work on the national “Day Without A Woman” protests, but she was wearing red in solidarity with her feminist allies who did walk out on their jobs.
But her comments on Morning Joe should disqualify her from feminism because they were very sexist against the female hosts of Fox News’s Outnumbered:
“All of these people with long legs and short skirts talk about how people feel about the news.”
Co-host Joe Scarborough echoed the mockery, adding, “They have like 30 women or something and then they get one guy in the middle. And it’s called 'Outnumbered,' right?”
“And all these legs!” Brzezinski interjected.
Outnumbered, in fact, features four women, Meghan McCain, Eboni K. Williams, Melissa Francis, and Sandra Smith and one man that has included Eric Bolling or Brian Kilmeade as the one "outnumbered."
The reason Brzezinski’s feathers were ruffled was because on Tuesday, the ladies on Fox were commenting on her emotional response on her show. Scarborough scoffed at the Outnumbered hosts, saying, “Nothing sexist there.”
So, naturally, Brzezinski launched her own “sexist” comments in retaliation. But like any good liberal, she was caught in her own hypocrisy because Brzezinski would NEVER be caught dead flaunting her toned legs for the camera and telling other people “how to feel about the news.” Or would she:
