Sometimes it's worth it to take a break from fighting the Left and remember the folks who have sacrificed so much to ensure we have the freedom to debate ideas in this country.
Providing that moment is actor and soldiers advocate Gary Sinise. Through his foundation, homes for wounded soldiers have been built and given to the veterans with features that help their war-torn bodies readjust to civilian life and face the challenges a little easier. Now, they're telling their stories.
“Stories of Sacrifice” chronicles the lives of those soldiers and their families whose lives have been changed by the generosity of The Gary Sinise Foundation:
This holiday season, we asked some of the individuals we’ve helped to share their stories. These are men and women of all ages and races who have sacrificed to protect our nation and our freedom.
What is important to remember, however, is that these are just a few of many. Millions more sacrifice every day with their loved ones by their side.
From the daughter of a severely wounded hero to World War II veterans; mothers, fathers, and caregivers, each has a story to tell. Sinise’s foundation asks us all to “remember their sacrifices” and “honor the cost.”
