Superman Saves Illegal Aliens from White Gunman in Latest Comic

And he doesn’t fly them back to their homeland and tell them to come back the legal way.

Superman was once for truth, justice, and the American way. Now, he only applies that to certain people.

In Action Comics #987, released on Wednesday, Superman meets a new enemy: a disgruntled, yet patriotic white man. The Hollywood Reporter describes the story from "The Oz Effect:"

Superman arrives in the nick of time to protect a group of undocumented immigrants from a white man sporting an American flag bandanna, wielding a machine gun, who is going to shoot them for taking his job.

Superman blocks the bullets before they hit the terrified people.

It’s now the job of a space alien to protect illegal aliens... who are also breaking the law like the mean, white man.

“Stop this!” Superman shouts. “Why?!”

The gunman responds, “They stole from me! Ruined me!”

Superman lectures, “The only person responsible for the blackness smothering your soul is you.”

Police arrive on the scene to nab the shooter. Superman then asks officers to make sure the illegals are “safe and cared for.” Notice he doesn't seek justice here by lecturing them on coming to America legally. He lets them continue breaking the law. That's not Superman.

Oh, and it just so happens that this comic is released a week after President Trump ended DACA.

As The Hollywood Reporter stated, “Perhaps it is just a coincidence, but perhaps not.”

RIP, Superman.
