Streisand: Trump Inspired School Shooter Because He Was Mean to Hillary

Oh, Babs. Shut up and sing. On second thought...

In a new interview with Variety, vocalist/actress and legendary leftist Barbara Streisand pegged the Florida school shooting on President Trump, saying he “brings out the violence in people.”

Streisand believes that the 19-year-old shooter, Nikolas Cruz, who killed 17, had been “affected” by the 2016 election and Trump’s mean comments about Hillary Clinton:

“I think even that shooter was affected because Trump brings out the violence in people. He says, ‘It’s OK — rally, lock her up.’ Everything he called Hillary, he is. He embodies the nasty remarks he makes about other people. He’s a liar. He’s crooked.”

Streisand said she was with Clinton on the campaign trail once when the candidate was ill.

“I was giving her tea. I was like, ‘Here, these are good lozenges, and you’re coughing and you got to keep drinking liquids.’ I didn’t know she had pneumonia,” she said.

Then she expressed her beliefs as to why Clinton lost the election — which is to say, Streisand doesn’t believe Clinton actually lost:

“I said to her the last time I saw her, ‘You were just too smart.’ I really believe she won the election. I’ve talked to senators from Michigan and Wisconsin. I do believe, like I believed during Bush, they were playing with those voter machines. And [Al Gore] lost by 537 votes out of 104 million. And now, in retrospect, Bush looks quite good compared to Trump. At least he’s not mean-spirited. He’s not a guy who is retaliating for what Obama did at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.”

While much could be made of this level of delusion, you have to remember that Streisand is the kind of person that clones her pets after they die because she can’t live without them. Think about that for a second:
