Streep Flips Script: Forget My Silence, What About Melania and Ivanka?

Deflect much?

Meryl Streep has had enough with complaints that she knowingly kept pal Harvey Weinstein’s sexual misconduct under wraps instead of outing him and potentially preventing any more victims in his wake. She wants out of this spotlight and is starting to call out others for staying quiet.

After her buddy, whom she once called “god” from the awards stage, was exposed as a sexual abuser, she called the women “who raised their voices” to finally stop it “our heroes.”

Despite their history of collaboration, and the cry throughout Hollywood that “everybody knew” about Weinstein's behavior and payoffs to victims, Streep defiantly declared, “Not everybody knew.” She has since been widely criticized for her silence. But in a new interview with The New York Times, the Academy Award winner is striking back at her critics and telling them to gang up on somebody else. And any ol’ Trump will do:

"I don’t want to hear about the silence of me. I want to hear about the silence of Melania Trump. I want to hear from her. She has so much that’s valuable to say. And so does Ivanka. I want her to speak now."

Ah, yes, the old "do as I say, not as I do" bit. But what else can you expect from a hypocritical leftist?
