Snooki and JWoww Say Christie Shouldn't Be Impeached

Despite trading harsh words in the past about New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Snooki and JWoww seem to have forgiven.

TMZ reports via one of their cameramen in New York City that while New Jersey's Gov. Chris Christie was giving his State of the State Address on Tuesday, Jersey Shore stars Snooki and JWoww decided they would partially forgive the governor from their sparring in the past.

Back when he was first elected as governor of the state from which the MTV show hailed, Christie said he thought the hard partying ways of the cast members cast a poor light on New Jersey. He also pointed out that not all of the members were from his home state.

In July, the two reality TV stars met the governor while appearing separately on the Today Show; after the awkward exchange Snooki told cameras, "he just doesn't like us." Then in October JWoww called the governor "retarded" because of his stance on gay marriage.

Now the duo, who are still appearing on television in their new show Snooki and JWoww, must have moved on from the ongoing feud because they have decided Christie does not deserve to be impeached over the "Bridgegate" scandal.

What Jennifer Farley and Nicole Polizzi think about Christie might not matter in the scheme of his political future considering his approval rating in New Jersey stands at 59%. The governor appears to be looking beyond New Jersey and on to 2016 still despite his recent national news story, as he plans on fundraising with Governor Rick Scott (R-FL) this weekend -- a key state in the 2016 race.
