The Muslim demographic will go to Hillary Clinton this election by overwhelming margins, according to a new survey.
Breitbart reports that "the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) released its national survey Thursday, reporting that 72 percent of Muslim voters surveyed say they will cast their vote for Clinton on November 8, with 4 percent intending to vote for Trump and 12 percent undecided."
The organization CAIR has become a subject of much controversy in terms of its relationship to terrorist cells, which both Senator Charles Schumer (D. New York) and Senator Dick Durbin (D. Illinois) have criticized. It has since been declared a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates.
Steven Pomerantz, former counterterrorism chief for the FBI, said of the organization: "CAIR, its leaders, and its activities effectively give aid to international terrorist groups."
CAIR did not reveal the questions asked in its survey of 800 phone calls; it did say the questions were asked after the first presidential debate.
The survey had margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percent.
