Shepard Smith Freaks Out at TSA

Shepard Smith couldn't believe the story of a California teen who was a stowaway from San Jose to Maui.

The TSA tried to take Shepard Smith's toothpaste.

This revelation came as the host of Shepard Smith Reporting was covering the story of a 16 year old boy who stowed away on a Hawaiian Airlines flight from San Jose, CA to Maui.

Smith spoke with West Coast correspondent Trace Gallagher and told the fellow FNC employee he called "bs" when he read the piece this morning. Smith then welcomed an aviation expert, Tom Blank, on the show and speculated how the young man could have survived. The well watched host shouted that "nobody" was watching security tapes of the tarmac and was concerned TSA is not properly doing their job and that the process is in "complete disarray!"

Ah, but they tried to take my toothpaste this morning because they didn't believe that toothpaste came in travel sizes. And they had to look at the thing... Yet they don't find a 16 year old boy who wanders into a freakin' wheel well! Good job TSA! Have a great day! I feel safe don't you?

Shep continued that he wasn't sure if the "kid" did indeed spend the 5.5 hour flight from California to Maui and ended the segment saying he got to keep his toothpaste.
