Sgt. Bergdahl's Father Deletes Disturbing Tweet

"God will repay for the death of every Afghan child, ameen!"

In a twist to an already sordid story, a tweet by recently freed American soldier Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's father, days before his son's release, may prove to be damning evidence against the Bergdahl family.

On Thursday, Robert Bergdahl tweeted this to an Afghani news site:

It has since been deleted from his account, but not before it could be screen-captured. Now the Obama administration will have to add this to the mounting questions surrounding Bergdahl's release.

Other unanswered questions also remain regarding the details of Bergdahl's capture in 2009, as Michelle Malkin offered in a "flashback" Saturday at her site. There is also a 2012 CBS News report that pointed to a Rolling Stone article highlighting emails between Bergdahl and his parents saying he was "ashamed" to be an American. In another he writes, "The horror that is America is disgusting."

The Obama administration has its hands full right now. A lot has happened in just a few days: Shinseki's firing at the VA, Jay Carney's resignation, and now releasing high-ranking terrorists with his arms around the Bergdahl's. The days ahead will be interesting indeed.
