Perhaps the most radical political activist in the merde-hole of leftism known as Hollywood is Sean Penn, who never met a socialist dictator he didn't love and openly support (pictured above with Venezuela's anti-capitalist billionaire Hugo Chavez). On Saturday TIME magazine, once a mainstream news weekly and now an open sewer of leftist propaganda, posted an opinion piece by Penn titled "Donald Trump Is the Enemy of Compassion" decrying President Trump's purported -- but unconfirmed -- comment that Haiti and countries with similarly disastrous infrastructures and corrupt governments are "shitholes."
The left has seized upon this rumored comment -- denied by Trump and by numerous others who were present in the meeting where it was reportedly uttered -- to paint the President as a racist who was denigrating all the "brown people" of these countries, which would be an intentionally false interpretation of the comment even if he actually said it. Sean Penn, as the founder of the J/P Haitian Relief Organization, took particular umbrage at Trump's mention of Haiti.
Predictably, Penn's piece is self-serving and completely lacks any mention of the fiancial rape perpetrated on the Haitian people by the corrupt Clinton Foundation in the wake of the devastating quake there in 2010. Instead, Penn uses his editorial to declare that, with Trump, "we have elected, perhaps for the first time in our history, an enemy of compassion":
He encourages the enslavement of America by a core minority of our electorate; he massages into them the notion that American principal [sic] lives not in the belief and sacrifice of their own ancestors or our country’s forefathers, but rather in their own pain, rage and fear. President Donald Trump’s words describing the glorious people of Africa, El Salvador and Haiti are far worse than mere insensitivity or even nationalism. Those standards are not disgraceful enough.
Again, Trump wasn't describing all the individuals of those countries, who are largely the victims of rapacious authoritarian leadership and toxic economic systems like socialism which have turned those countries, including Haiti, into... well, shitholes.
Penn closes by urging readers hyperbolically to "recognize President Donald Trump is an enemy of Americans, Republicans, Democrats, Independents and every new child born. An enemy of mankind. He is indeed an enemy of the state."
What rank hypocrisy, for an anti-American who has consorted with America's worst enemies in the Western Hemisphere to condemn Donald Trump as an enemy of the state. Speaking of which, it's revealing that he ranked "enemy of the state" above "enemy of mankind," because for radical leftists like Sean Penn and his friends Chavez and Fidel Castro, the state is the de facto ultimate authority.
Both those phrases are reminiscent of the term "enemy of the people," which is the totalitarian state's label for a political dissident. It is the term used to justify rounding up such "enemies" and sending them to gulags. Rest assured that if Penn and his ilk held enough power, that is precisely what they would do with Trump and other "enemies of the state."
