Marco Rubio used the testing of a hydrogen bomb by North Korea to go after Hillary Clinton and her husband Bill while stumping in Iowa on Wednesday.
Rubio, the Florida Senator and Republican presidential hopeful, was reacting to news reports that North Korea had tested an H-bomb. He took aim at the lack of action by President Barack Obama and his administration, which until a few years ago, included Hillary Clinton as his top diplomat:
"This administration has done nothing about it. And Bill Clinton wanted to give speeches in North Korea a few years ago, by the way. It's reckless what has happened under this administration, and what happened under Hillary Clinton's watch at the State Department. And in the face of all of these dangers the president is destroying the U.S. military."
Last summer, documents were released thanks to a lawsuit by the group Citizens United, which showed that Bill Clinton sought approval for high-pay speeches in North Korea and the Democratic Republic of the Congo - another brutal and oppressive regime - all while his wife Hillary was Secretary of State.
