Palestinians Celebrate 'Martyr' who Murdered U.S. Veteran

“Martyr Bashar Masalha, 22, ascended to Heaven…"

Palestinian media are celebrating the murderer of an American Army veteran as a martyr.

In March, Taylor Force was in Tel Aviv for a school trip as a Vanderbilt University student when he was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist. Force, 29, was a graduate student, West Point grad, and served multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

His killer, 22-year-old Bashar Masalha, went on a stabbing rampage that also severely injured Force's wife and injured others, including a pregnant woman. He was shot dead by Israeli police.

As Legal Insurrection is reporting, the official Palestinian Authority news network is celebrating the belated return of Masalha's body, calling him a "martyr" 11 times in a recent broadcast. A reporter states:

“After delays by Israel in the transfer of his body, Martyr Bashar Masalha’s family, from the village of Hajja, east of Qalqilya, received their son in the evening… The Martyr Bashar returned from Qalqilya to his village Hajja in a procession… His family, friends, and people of the region took it upon themselves to ensure that this [burial] would be a large national wedding (i.e., to the 72 Virgins in Paradise) befitting of Martyrs… The Martyr was accompanied to his last resting place in the cemetery for Martyrs in Hajja…”

As TruthRevolt reported in its previous story on Force, Vice President Joe Biden was a mile away from the attacks in a meeting meant to quell the violence between Palestine and Israel. Biden later tried to eek out an apology from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to no avail. Abbas, instead, sent condolences and dubbed the violence -- 65 stabbings, 8 shootings, 8 car rammings, with 14 Israelis dead, 167 wounded -- a "popular peaceful uprising."

Biden's trip meant nothing, then. Great job, Obama administration!
