A state legislator in Ohio wants to honor the return of LeBron James to the Cleveland Cavaliers by creating a specialty license plate honoring the basketball star's homecoming.

State Rep. Bill Patton announced his intention to introduce a "LeBron James Witness 2.0" plate, which if passed, would be added to the more than 70 specialty plates Ohio currently offers.

Noting that the plate would "honor the return home of our prodigal champion," Patton said the idea has less to do with the basketball star's contributions on the court as opposed to those off it:

The Cleveland Democrat said the plate would commemorate the NBA star's contributions to the economy of Ohio and to its children and families through his charity, the LeBron James Family Foundation.
