On Friday morning, President Obama appeared on Good Morning America on ABC News to fight back against Speaker of the House John Boehner’s lawsuit against his executive overreach. Obama called the suit a “stunt,” one day after insisting that all of the scandals plaguing his administration were in fact “phony.”

Obama then added, “I'm not going to apologize for trying to do something while they're doing nothing.”

George Stephanopoulos of ABC News predictably nodded along. He received a ride from Air Force One just before the interview.

Yesterday, Obama stated, “We've got a party on the other side whose only rationale, motivation seems to be opposing me…They’re fabricated issues, phony scandals…It makes people cynical, and it makes people turned off from the idea that anything can get done.”
