NYT Columnist to Trump Supporter: Hush, ‘the Grown-Ups Are Thinking’

“This guy should not be allowed to come on television.”

New York Times op-ed columnist Charles Blow was a guest on CNN’s New Day with Chris Cuomo and attacked another guest who was their supporting Donald Trump, GOP commentator and former Director of Black Outreach for George W. Bush’s administration Paris Dennard. Blow felt his credentials outmatched Dennard’s in a big way and wasn’t shy about showing it.

The segment centered on the accusations of racism between Trump’s and Hillary Clinton’s campaigns. Blow degraded Dennard for interrupting his comments, telling him, “The grown-ups are thinking.” Then he went on to chide CNN for allowing someone like Dennard on the show.

“You have somebody, this guy… I don’t even know who this guy is,” Blow said insultingly.

“This is what people look at and say this is media malpractice. We let this happen. We let that slide. And that is what media malpractice looks like,” Blow added.

Blow’s frustration took him to the point where he declared a person like Dennard shouldn’t even be allowed on television if he is going to be insulting Clinton with the word “bigot.”

Cuomo tried to keep the peace, telling the men to stop baiting each other. But it was Blow that wasn’t being fair at all, which is not surprising coming from a NYT bigot.
