With all the criticism Roger Goodell has been taking over his handling of the abuse scandals plaguing the NFL, he has one supporter in his corner. 

TMZ caught up with NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver and asked him how he though Goodell was handling the situation. 

"He's doing the best he can under difficult circumstances," Silver said ... "Rogers in a difficult position.  He's been a great commissioner so far and he'll work his way through these issues."

At least he has someone in his corner.
