Tuesday is “National Hug a Newsperson Day,” but the hashtag on Twitter hasn’t brought much love to the mainstream media whom most see as unworthy of such affection.
While some made a point to defend the press, which has been strongly checked by the Trump administration for its implicit bias, and others showed love to their favorite conservative outlets, most used the hashtag to express the various reasons why the MSM doesn’t deserve any praise.
