In light of a report Friday suggesting that President Trump may fire special counsel Robert Mueller — potentially hampering the Left’s ravenous plan for the President’s impeachment -- two Hollywood stars have taken to the Twitterverse in order to lead a charge against the leader of the free world.

Former entertainer Cher announced:

“FYI, I DONT CARE IF I HAVE 2 PUSH MYSELF AWAY FROM CHRISTMAS DINNER, IF MUELLER IS FIRED,I WILL GO, MARCH, STAY IN TENTS, UNTILL THIS DANGEROUS PARIAH, HEARS & FEARS THE SOUND OF OUR NEVER ENDING RESOLVE.WE WILL MARCH IN PEACE & UNITY!! WE R AMERICAN CITIZENS. IT IS NOT RUSSIA YET."

Actress Patricia Arquette jockeyed onto the protest, promising:

“I will be there too-and I will bring a couple of backpacks full of sandwiches and snacks to Share with others!”

The news story, produced by The Hill, quoted Democratic Representative Jackie Speier:

“The rumor on the hill when I left yesterday was that the president was going to make a significant speech at the end of next week. And on December 22, when we are out of D.C., he was going to fire Robert Mueller.”

However, on Sunday, President Trump denied any intention to fire Mueller. Nevertheless, by Monday, left-wing groups were readying for battle. According to The Hill:

“Over 100,000 Americans have vowed to take part in more than 500 protests across the country should the firing occur, according to a press release.”

Cher followed up Tuesday, undoubtedly allowing millions of Americans to breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that the "Turn Back Time" singer and drag queen icon is protecting them:

“We protest if Mueller gets fired, Rosenstein gets fired, Sessions gets fired. These 3 thing mean exactly same thing!! We cannot let these men who would do harm to our beloved America, do so without any consequences. We will march!! We will protect you.”

When a Twitter user asked the very, very botoxed 71-year-old why she would protest Sessions’s firing, she explained:

“You don’t understand consequences. If Sessions Is fired, Trump has chosen new AG LOYAL 2HIM, who has not recused himself. Trump controls NEW AG completely. He will shut down Mueller unless we take the streets in the thousands. And stay. We can spell one another & stay protesting.”

Cher has at least one non-celebrity follower ready to join her brigade: Twitter user Annie#CherCrew, who humbly describes herself as "Just a profound person I LOVE CHER," may understand consequences, but not so much logistics, with her endorsement of a directive from the Trump Resistance Movement:

In a world where left-wing celebrities consider themselves political experts, it's hard not to wince when they open their mouths (or social media accounts) to solve the world's problems. Cher would probably wince, too, if her face could move that way. Still, it will be interesting to see how botox holds up under the sweltering heat of her Malibu tent.
