MSNBC’s Chris Hayes took a swipe at former Vice President Dick Cheney calling him the architect of the Iraq War and ‘torture regime.’

After showing clips of Cheney giving sound military advice on the situation in Crimea, Hayes said,

“For the record, those ideas make as much sense as you would expect from the architect of the Iraq war and torture regime.”

Hayes said Cheney’s comments come “From the department of unhelpful suggestions on what to do with Crimea and Russia.”
