MSNBC Wealth-Shames Private Citizens... Again

They really hate private citizens.

Today on MSNBC's Now with Alex Wagner, the ivy league graduate host of her own TV show and daughter of a prominent Democrat operative did an entire segment dedicated entirely to shaming the family who started and continue to majority-own Walmart for being rich.

"They do not seem to care much for charity," says the host, who then goes into a full breakdown of the amount of their wealth versus the amount of donations to charity they have made. She compares the percentage of their wealth that has been donated as compared to the percentage donated by liberal hero Warren Buffet. It should be noted Buffet is a hero not for his charitable giving, which the left never cares about, but rather for his support of liberal ideas like raising taxes and governmental wealth redistribution. If you are holding your breath waiting for Alex Wagner to list major Hollywood elites and their charitable giving, take a breath, because you are going to die.

The Waltons are a target of choice because liberals hate Walmart. They would rather not have a place where people of lesser means can shop for nice things at low prices. They hate that because it leaves government out of the mix and if there is one thing Democrats love, it is making sure government gets a cut of everything. They target the wealth of the Koch brothers for similarly being an enemy of the Democrat party.

None of which, of course, is wealthy Alex Wagner's real purpose in the segment. She is of course simply playing class warfare. She doesn't care that the Waltons have given five BILLION dollars in charitable donations in the last few years, nor does she care how many millions of people have been helped by that money. She would rather trick poor people who might be recipients of that money into believing that it's not good because it's not good enough. The better to elect more Democrats. The better to force the Waltons to hand it over.

Committed Democrat spokespersons like Alex Wagner don't care if your lot in life is improved. Only if your voting record is approved. And if that means attacking private citizens and making them into targets because they are too successful, well so be it.
