On "Morning Joe" Friday, co-host Joe Scarborough shamed Hillary Clinton for her "disgusting" comments in which she compared pro-lifers to terrorists.

Blasting the "hyperbolic and insulting" comparison as "gutter politics at its worst," Scarborough highlighted the atrocities toward women performed by groups like ISIS and noted that about half of America is pro-life:

SCARBOROUGH: It was disgusting. It was absolutely disgusting. Hillary Clinton saying that somebody who is pro-life –no, I mean, let’s tell the truth. She wanted us to talk about this. She wanted to throw a bright shiny object out there … so they don’t talk about the email scandal. And so she has to be so hyperbolic and insulting and quite frankly just — it’s gutter politics at its worst to compare people to radical terrorists that cut off people’s heads and blow up grandmoms. It’s not alright. We see what the terrorists do to young girls — the sexual slavery is absolutely appalling and what Hillary Clinton did is compare somebody who is pro-life, which is close to 50 percent of Americans to radical terrorists.

At a speech in Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Thursday, Clinton took her War On Women rhetoric to a new low by accusing pro-lifers opposed to Planned Parenthood of having the kind of "extreme views about women" that we expect "from some of the terrorist groups" (video above):

CLINTON: Jeb Bush says Planed Parenthood shouldn’t get a penny. The governor right here in Ohio banned state funding for some rape crisis centers because they sometimes refer woman to other health facilities that do provide abortions. I would like these Republican candidates to look a mom in the eye who caught her breast cancer early because she was able to get a screening for cancer. Or a teenager who didn’t get pregnant because she had access to contraception. Or anyone who has ever been protected by an HIV test.

Now, extreme views about women, we expect that from some of the terrorist groups, we expect that from people who don’t want to live in the modern world, but it’s a little hard to take from Republicans who want to be president of the United States. Yet they espouse out of date and out of touch policies. They are dead wrong for 21st century America. We are going forward. We are not going back.
