Chris Matthews offered MSNBC viewers more quality programming on Hardball Thursday, including unfunny Letterman clips intended to mock Republicans and an unnerving time-lapse of President Obama's face.
Matthews began the segment by using a lame Letterman clip to remind his viewers that Texas Gov. Rick Perry was indicted this week. He then played yet another unfunny Letterman clip that showed a fake Romney 2016 ad, Matthews feeling compelled to add a forced a laugh afterward to make sure his viewers realized it was funny.
As the grand finale, the MSNBC host offered a trippy time-lapse of Obama’s face which has made the rounds online, saying, “What a difference five-plus years in office will do to you.” Grammatical incoherence aside, I think we can all at least agree with the sentiment.
